Playgroup

Your child will love playgroup because they will be provided with the opportunity to:

Learn and share through play
Discover how to get along with other children
Listen to music and stories
Improve their abilities to solve problems
Explore by playing with water and sand and by painting and doing other kinds of art and craft
Have fun playing outdoors and going on outings and excursions
Find out more about their world

In a playgroup parents and carers stay and play with their children and help them play with other children. Playgroups help parents and carers to support each other and to make new friends.

We meet on Thursdays between 10am and 12 noon during school terms. We cater for children from babies to five years of age. There is a weekly cost of $2.

Families attending playgroup must be a financial member of the association of Playgroup Queensland to retain insurance coverage, therefore families/carers must pay their membership after the third visit. A yearly family membership fee of $28 (including GST) or $20 (concession) applies regardless of the number of children in your family. Half yearly family membership of $17 (including GST) or $14 (concession) applies from 1st October 2007.
