C3 Church is Waterwise!

Over the past 18 months we have been working in conjunction with the Australian Government Water Fund to establish water conscious practices on our property.  We were successful in applying for and receiving funding for one of 4,661 initiatives funded by the Federal Government which has enabled us to purchase and install two 33,000 L Water tanks.

Our ‘Aqua Capture’ program has set a goal of reducing the Church’s reliance on Town Water supply for the use of Flushing toilets by 1/3 of the current recorded use.  With many of the activities undertaken by the Church being passive in nature to overall water use, we see this aspect as having the greatest measurable potential.

We hope that over the coming months and years, we will not only save money on water related bills but do our part in contributing to help conserve the natural resources.
